What have members been talking about on social media?

Over the last few months, CILEX, its members and the legal community have been responding online to the findings of CILEX’s member insight survey, supporting the London Legal Walk, congratulating CILEX’s graduating members and hearing more about some of our members through their own CILEX stories.

October’s release of CILEX’s member insight survey saw much media coverage and debate. Many agreed that discrimination and unfair treatment of CILEX Lawyers exists in the workplace and CILEX Chair Chris Bones laid out his plans to tackle the issue.

A CILEX team took part in the London Legal Walk, organised by the London Legal Support Trust (LLST) to raise funds for free legal advice services in London and the South-East.

Last year’s event brought in an incredible £550,000, which will be used by LLST to support over 100 organisations, providing a key route for access to justice and specialist legal advice at no cost to those in need.

In November, CILEX celebrated graduation, with over 370 CILEX professionals coming together at London’s Central Hall, in the heart of Westminster.

Members, their friends, families and peers congratulated one another on this milestone occasion.

CILEX recognises that all members’ experiences with CILEX are unique and no two stories the same. Kicking off its new campaign to hear all about members, CILEX chatted to Katie Dean and Izzy Minor about their studies and their journey with CILEX so far.
