Policy Meets Practice

2019 was an eventful year for the CILEx Policy team. Throughout the past year the CILEx Journal has detailed key areas that we have been involved with. This has included our consultation engagement, the re-launch and establishment of ÿve new Specialist Reference Group communities (SRGs) and our policy work and messaging on key areas.

However, the CILEx Policy team has been involved in a wider body of work that has seen further strengthening of our policy positions and a stronger representation of CILEx members’ voice. The intention behind developing these mechanisms has been to enable us to be more vocal about the things that matter to our members and the public interest. We would therefore like to take this opportunity to share with you how the important work of 2019 shall be taken forward into 2020.
