CILEX announces new professional board

CILEX has appointed six new members to its Professional Board which acts as the voice of CILEX members, reflecting the views and perspectives of CILEX’s diverse membership.

The new members who are all CILEX Fellows are:

• Delaina Benjamin, CILEX lawyer, litigator and advocate specialising in housing;
• Kim Findlow, senior associate specialising in employment and pensions at international firm Eversheds Sutherland;
• Sara Fowler, healthcare and litigation lawyer at Barts Health NHS Trust and Barking, Havering and Redbridge University NHS Trust;
• Jodie Davis, senior associate and head of costs delivery in national firm Irwin Mitchell’s costs management team; 
• Robert Morris, head of operations at Liverpool firm Bond Turner; and 
• Tom Morgan, senior associate at international firm CMS Law (a substantive appointment having been co-opted since July 2023).

Leaving the Professional Board with CILEX’s thanks at the end of her term is Alexis Thomas, CILEX lawyer and associate and head of private client at South Wales firm HPJV Solicitors.

The new members bring a broad range of skills and experience that will help CILEX build on the successful work of the Professional Board, pushing forward with its new workplan, covering employer engagement, member events, career development, policy development, professional networking, equality, diversity and inclusion, and the promotion of CILEX as a career path.
