What have members been talking about on social media?
The last few months have seen CILEX, its members and other parts of the legal community take to social media to respond to the opening of the CPQ for applications, to congratulate each other on exam results and to celebrate Pride Month.
In June, we saw Lord Chancellor and Secretary of State for Justice Robert Buckland, praise CILEX for introducing its new qualification and the legal press posting their stories following the launch.
Members wished each other good luck before their exam results in March, and praised each other when results were released by CILEX. Congratulations to all of our students - we’re very proud of you, as always!
One of the ways in which CILEX, the Bar Council and the Law Society marked Pride Month in June was by reminding members of their commitment to stand up for LGBT+ people in the legal sector, and by using the #LegalPride2021 hashtag on social media.
CILEX also encouraged members to share their stories, highlighting the experiences of LGBT+ lawyers.
