Matrix barristers’ work develops the law in national and international courts and tribunals. Matrix cases are discussed both in academic and legal commentary and covered by the mainstream media - most days, every week. The Legal Support Service is a key resource for Matrix members, whether we’re urgently tracking down cases, legislation or articles, producing bundles of authorities for court, or carrying out background research for cases, seminars and articles. Senior Legal Officer
Manchester - Grade 7 £27,924 to £30,978 (Bar at £30,178) pa
The Senior Legal Officer will assist the Group Manager in the management of the Business Support Team, ensuring effective management and maintenance of case files contributing to a shared responsibility for the effective running and efficiency of the Group. All the successful candidates will have experience in children and family law, demonstrate a good working knowledge of local government law and be able to evidence personal commitment to continuous self development and service improvement.
