We have an exciting opportunity for a Chartered Legal Executive/newly qualified solicitor or experienced Paralegal to join our General Legal team as a Legal Support to help support our Legal Advisor with global Corporate and Commercial issues and to make sure they get the attention they deserve. With at least one years experience as a paralegal either in house or in private practice dealing with general legal work, you will hold a degree (or CILEx equivalent) in Law or a Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) conversion. Chartered Legal Executive required to join the Succession and Tax Team in Portsmouth. Legal experience is essential and experience with routine trust administration and preparation of simple trust documents. Under Trust Manager supervision, the role will include dealing with a variety of trusts and their investments, communicating with trustees and beneficiaries, preparing accounts and inheritance tax forms.

This role is based within the Commercial Recoveries team at our Portsmouth office. You will manage your own caseload of debt recovery and/or return of goods cases. Practical training will be given to assist you with managing your caseload, which will include issuing Court proceedings, negotiating with Defendants and obtaining and enforcing County Court Judgments.
